How Safe is construction practices in India

At least 20 people dead due to fall of over way under construction in the bust cantt area of Varanasi. The area was crowded and all of sudden the beam under alignment fell down crushing number of cars, scooters and other passing below. The Varanasi is the constituency of prime minister Sh. Narendra Modi. We at Planners Koncept feel what are the safety measures being taken at various locations as construction activity is going on at various high activity areas all over.

Its high time we architects, planners, engineers and policy makers have to think about this always.
